Blogs That Don't Print the Truth About Kos Must Be Controlled By Kos

The news that the most well-known blogger in the pseudo-progressive blogosphere spent six months training(?) at the CIA is certainly shocking. It goes to the foundation of what the blogosphere is about and what prospects it offers for real change. And yet, some blogosphere outlets have NEVER printed a single story about this news and have banned writers who have done so.

There can only be one reason for ostensibly leftist blogs failing to print the shocking news about Kos. Those blogs punishing writers for publishing this information are controlled formally or informally, directly or indirectly, by Markos Alberto C. Moulitsas Zúñiga (MAMZ) and, perhaps, by those to whom MAMZ reports, if indeed he still maintains some variant of whatever relationship he had during the six months he spent at the CIA in 2001.

And yet, there are many, many blogs in the pseudo-progressive blogosphere that have a policy of discouraging criticism of ex(?) CIA contact MAMZ. I have been banned from MyLeftWing, Culture Kitchen, MyDD, MyBlueMass, As Ohio Goes, and Blue New Hampshire for publishing negative information about Kos.

Is there any good reason why we should refrain from publishing negative information about a pseudo-progressive who opposed gays in the military, supported Ronald Reagan, supported George H.W.Bush, tolerates and encourages misogyny at his blog, and still supports "states rights," which is an ideology also advanced by the Klu Klux Klan?

Is DailyKos a White Supremacist Group?

Why in the world would we want to refrain from "Kos-bashing"? We should be bashing MAMZ just as furiously as Germans should have bashed Hitler when Hitler was trying to take over the world.

Does that sound alarmist? When David Duke, the KKK leader, was running for president, he too was an advocate of "states rights," just like Markos Alberto C. Moulitsas Zúñiga. If you think the United States has become a dictatorship with George W. Bush in power, then just imagine what it would be like if Markos Moulitsas or David Duke came to power.

When I see ANY leader acting like Adolph Hitler, I say, "Never Again!"

Any blog or news outlet that steadfastly refuses to report the Truth About Kos must be an "asset" of Kos or influenced by Kos.

3. you or anybody to spam my site with links while adding no content whatsoever. it was because of you that I decided to add a "NOFOLLOW" rule to all the links coming out of the forums for your abuse of my hospitality.

I am utterly furious but more so offended with your actions and your behaviour. You have abused my trust and have damaged your reputation in my eyes. you have no credibility whatsoever with your crusade against DK.

You're actions are giving DailyKos more importance and influence vis-a-vis the POCsphere than it merits. Stop whining about that site and start focusing on supporting the true representatives of the POC blogosphere.

If you can't wrap your head around how you undermine the work of other people of color in the blogosphere, then you are just a waste of time.

If a link doesn't work, be patient. Look for an updated link in the articles below, use the search function in the top left, and/or look to this list of all but one of the articles written by Markos C. A. Moulitsas Zúñiga (MAMZ) when he was at Northern Illinois University (NIU), writing extreme right-wing letters to the editor. Interestingly, the one known missing article still is not in the archives although it was faxed to me by Northern Star staff and republished here. That article was the first in a series of five articles about "racism", four of which were assigned tasks and described the "racism" and religious persecution problems on campus based on interviews.

In the fifth article, which was not commissioned, MAMZ declared that, having completed the obligatory four articles, the fifth article would announced his intention to withdraw again into "detached selfishness", grateful that he was not one of "them", "whose skin color or religious persuassion (sic) made them the target of bigotry and discrimination. They would never be able to escape who they were."

This is MAMZ announcement that he is NOT a Latino, but is a white man, and he underlines this today by insisting that it is improper to address him using his mother's Latino name, "Zúñiga".

In looking for the MAMZ's student newspaper articles, remember that the NIU student newspaper, the Northern Star, has changed the Internet addresses of these articles three times [now four times as of 9/2010] in last 30 months, making all old links obsolete and sometimes making all of the articles temporarily unavailable.

"Of the blogs covering the convention, black blogs will be 7.2% of the blogs present,” says Francis L. Holland of the Afrosphere Action Coalition. According to Holland, many states with a strong black Democratic presence and population are either underrepresented or not represented at all, even though black bloggers from these states did apply. “The state of Tennessee, which often has over 25% blacks among its Democratic primary voters, will not have a single black blogger at the Democratic National Convention, for example. The District of Columbia, which is 60% black, will be left out. Louisiana, which is 32.4% black, will be left out. The American Prospect quoted Francis L. Holland explaining why Blacks and women would not support John Edwards in 2008:
"Electing Edwards to challenge the status quo is like supporting a queen to challenge the monarchy or integrating an all-white club by adding more all-white club members. It is possible that electing yet another white man to the Presidency will end the poverty of the historically disenfranchised, with John Edwards serving as a "pass through" for those who have historically been disincluded legally and by custom. But this is a very convoluted way of achieving what could be achieved much more directly by electing Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. ..."
